Sanatorium Dans le Foret (France)

In 1899 that was the commissioning of the Maurice Letulle Pavilion reserved for men, and thus the opening of the sanatorium. Patients had access to study rooms, game rooms and parties, a nightclub, a library, animate and develop snooker clubs, chess, woodworking, bookbinding, and ran an internal radio club to broadcast music and information.

The first patients admitted to the CMH were on Friday 18 July 1879. They either walked or were taken by cart ambulance from the Connaught Hospital.

Hospital Diablo (France)

Hospital Diablo is known as the Hospital in the Mountains. This place sits on top of a mountain range, looking over the formation of clouds in the tree tops. The most amazing hospital I have been to with lighting and heating still on, its like the patients and staff just walked away. Beautiful place to shoot, the swimming pool had a view like I have never seen before…

Beelitz Heilstatten (Germany)

We arrived at Beelitz Heilstatten around 5am after a long drive through the night from Holland. The size of this place is amazing, its the size of a small village with the most beautiful architecture. Its rumoured that Hitler was treated in this very hospital when he was shot in the Battle of the Somme. Beelitz has been vandalised and ruined however you will still find lots of beautiful architecture to shoot.
